FEED YOUR SOUL!

Studio One Roots Mix
Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae
FEED YOUR SOUL! Studio One tribute mix by novum

Feed your soul with the positive vibrations from Jamaicas Studio One where many of the great artist like Bob Marley, Skatalites or Burning Spear started their career. All songs produced by Coxsone Dodd between 1969 and 1977 at his studio on Brentford Road in Kingston.
Don´t let problems get you down, stop the fuss and take a ride on this roots trip!
This is a mixture of instrumentals and vocal, a little toasting and very little Ska.
All these songs are my favourites for some years now.No fancy effects added to match the vintage vibe of the music. I left out parts i didn´t like, doubled parts that sound great and jumped from vocal to
intrumental and back. In some cases i mixed songs so its like a duet that never happened! Enjoy!

LISTEN TO THE BASS!

heavy dub mix
Roots Rockers Style

Here we have more than 60 minutes of fine jamaican dub: LISTEN TO THE BASS! heavy dub mix rockers style by novum

Musical Disc to make you jump and twist. With this mix i wanted to select tracks with a heavy bass line and fast drumming, much drum and bass only to rock in your living room or any place!
I cut out parts i didn´t like, i doubled parts i loved and only little effects added mostly between tracks, so the music can stand for itself. But i also created my own dub versions by adding some vocals.
Made with Ableton in 2010. Enjoy!
